Blogging from the school yard-it's elementary.
Blogger are getting started early on in life. Students as young as six are expanding their educational horizons into the world of Weblogging.

Weblogs can be partisan, religious, angry, sexy, serious, frivolous, but can they be an educational tool? Blogs have found their way into the curriculum of some elementary schools. Teachers are working with students as young as six to use Weblogs to foster reading, writing, and communication.

Webloggy Websites for Schools explains that Weblogs can unite students and provide parents with information on homework, school events, and classroom news. Furthermore, blogs can create an interactive educational community for parents, students, teachers, and educational facilitators.

Schoolblogs says that blogs gives students the control to express themselves on their own terms. This will motivate students to think creatively and write habitually.

This early start could shape the face of tomorrows Weblogs. Pre-teens will be professional bloggers before they hit high school. Move aside and let’s let the kids speak.
